Ingredients

  • 1 cup sticky rice

  • 1 1/2 cup water

  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Soak sticky rice with water overnight.
  • Bring a steamer to a boil. Place cheesecloth in steamer. Drain bowl of rice, spoon out rice onto cheesecloth and steam for 30 minutes until rice is translucent.
  • Heat coconut milk on medium heat in a pot until no lumps and smooth. Stir in sugar and salt.
  • Pour hot coconut milk over hot sticky rice in a bowl to let sticky rice absorb the coconut milk for 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve immediately with slices of peeled & cut mango.
