Cabbage and ham is a healthy vegetable dish cooked in chicken broth.

Ingredients

  • Half a head of cabbage

  • 4 slices of oven roasted ham

  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Cut out center stem of cabbage and then chop cabbage head into 1 inch wide strips. Wash, drain, and set aside.
  • Cut ham slices into 1/2 inch strips.
  • Turn wok heat to high and add sesame oil. Put in ham slices and stir fry for a couple minutes to bring out the aroma of the ham.
  • Add the cabbage and stir fry until cabbage is evenly coated with the sesame oil. Add the chicken broth and then cover wok to let the cabbage steam for 3 minutes.
  • Uncover to see if the cabbage has softened and turned a nice green color. Salt to taste and stir fry until well combined. Plate and serve.
