Unlike other vegetables, long beans can cook a little longer to soften.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of Chinese Long Beans

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Directions

  • Wash and cut Chinese Long Beans into 3 inch sections.
  • Heat olive oil in pan and add minced garlic to bring out aroma. Add Chinese Long Beans and stir fry until garlic evenly distributed.
  • Add water and cover to steam long beans until beans are tender, but have some crunch left (about 5 minutes).
  • Add oyster sauce and soy sauce to stir fry for another 2 minutes and serve.
