Ingredients
1 cup sticky rice
1 1/2 cup water
1 cup coconut milk
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Soak sticky rice with water overnight.
- Bring a steamer to a boil. Place cheesecloth in steamer. Drain bowl of rice, spoon out rice onto cheesecloth and steam for 30 minutes until rice is translucent.
- Heat coconut milk on medium heat in a pot until no lumps and smooth. Stir in sugar and salt.
- Pour hot coconut milk over hot sticky rice in a bowl to let sticky rice absorb the coconut milk for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve immediately with slices of peeled & cut mango.
